Fred’s Outdoors has constructed a state of the art, climate-controlled facility and the most comfortable Indoor shooting range in MD. No matter the weather conditions outside, you will be comfortable year round. We have installed a spacious shooting area with storage and ample counter top space. We have a spacious viewing area for friends and family to observe shooting.

Range Waitlist Information
As of 01/19/2026, we have implemented a self-registration for the range waitlist.
*Monday, Wednesday, and Friday the waitlist will be open from 9am-5pm
*Saturday the waitlist will be open from 8am-5pm
*Sunday the waitlist will be open from 8am-3pm
How the waitlist will work going forward:
*Waitwhile will only allow you to put yourself on the waitlist if you are an established customer (used the waitlist before); new customers will have to get put on the waitlist by coming into store
*You have three options to get put on the waitlist
Option #1: Come into store and a cashier can put you on the waitlist

*You must be added to the waitlist (whether you add yourself OR have a staff member do it for you) the same day you intend to use it and no more than an hour before you are ready to shoot. Once you receive the text message saying “It’s your turn” you have 5 minutes to return, if you are not back within 5 minutes of the text message saying “It’s your turn” to claim your lane we remove you from the waiting list and move to the next person on the waiting list.
Range Fees
-Pistol Lane fee is $30/hour
– Rifle Lane fee is $40/hour
*Wait times for a rifle lane could possibly be longer
– $10 to add a second adult to the lane

-Ammo can either be purchased from our facilities or brought from another establishment. We have 92 guns available for rental. If you use a rental you MUST use our ammo. You may switch guns as much as you’d like for no additional charge!
*pistol rental fee is $20/hour
*rifle rental fee is $30/hour
*Eye/Ear Protection is $5 per person/hour
Membership Information
- Monthly and yearly memberships provide unlimited shooting (restricted to 1 hour sessions if there is a wait)
- Monthly individual membership is $75/month
- Yearly individual membership is $400/year
- Yearly family membership is $500/year, which includes you, your spouse, and your children that live at the same address.
WE ALLOW ALL HANDGUN/RIFLE CALIBERS UP TO .308 (NO SHOTGUNS)
Shooting Range Rules
- All firearms must be cased to enter the store/shooting range.
- All firearms are to remain in the shooters stall and pointed down range with chambers open when the firearm is not in use. Fred’s has provided storage for participants with multiple firearms.
- The stall is to be uncluttered.
- Two people per lane. Fred’s has provided a viewing area in which friends/relatives can observe.
- No one under the age of 21, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian while firing a handgun. No one under the age of 18, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian while firing a long gun.
- Cross lane firing is not permitted. Rounds shot into the ceiling, floor, and walls will not be tolerated. (The responsible parties will be required to pay in full ($150) at time of visit for any damage done)
- Dress code: NO flip flops/open toed shoes, NO tank tops, NO high heels, NO low cut blouses, T-shirts are permitted (collared shirts must be buttoned up), NO loose or baggy clothing.
- Must complete the Range Safety Video/Waiver annually (Go to fredsoutdoors.com –> At the bottom right-hand side of the page, it should say “sign our waiver”. The video will play first then it will prompt you to fill out the waiver). Viewing can be completed at home or on premise.
- Outside ammo is allowed and subject to inspection at our discretion.
- Participant’s firearms and gear are subject to inspection
- Eye/ear protection is to be worn at all times. These products will be made available on site to rent or purchase. Use of your personal eye and ear protection is allowed. **Anyone who compromises this will be asked to leave. Monthly/Annual members will have their fees prorated and refunded.**
